Green Thumb's six-step program will give you a dense, green, carpeted lawn throughout the spring, summer, and fall, and will also protect your grass during the winter. Consistency is key with this program, and each step is designed to deliver the right application at the right time each season. Our trained, licensed technicians apply treatments using the best quality products available.
Everyone wants to enjoy an amazing lawn, however when you have children or pets that play outside, you do not always want to expose them to the chemicals or pesticides that are usually used in lawn care. While most pesticides, fungicides, and herbicides have been proven safe, it’s always better to avoid exposing those you care about to anything that ends with “-cide” as often as possible.
At Green Thumb Turf & Tick, we wanted to make sure that we offered an organic, natural lawn care program for those that are trying to avoid chemical solutions. That’s why we created an organic version of our popular lawn care services.
Our organic lawn care service is chemical-free, which means we avoid the use of herbicides (weed killers) that contain chemical agents. That’s why we’d also like to recommend our aeration and seeding service. This supplementary service opens up the soil and over-seeds it so that the lawn grows deeper and thicker.
No good lawn care program is complete without high-quality fall aeration and seeding service. We use only the best equipment available on the market today to thoroughly aerate your lawn. In combination with our top-of-the-line equipment, we use premium-grade grass seed. Our grass seed is grown just for us each year and is meticulously maintained to be certified as 100% weed-free. We are incredibly proud of the quality of product we use on our lawns, so in order to maximize the result, we also apply a starter fertilizer to complete your seeding. Your lawn is only as good as the quality of grass seed you receive, and that is why Green Thumb's lawns notoriously look the best!
Most of these diseases are caused by various forms of fungi. These fungi are spread by small spores that are easily blown about in the wind, carried to the ground in the rain, and moved about on equipment and people’s shoes. When climate conditions are favorable, this spore germinates just like a small seed and starts to grow, attacking your grass and causing spots on the blades. While we have a number of different lawn diseases that affect our area lawns, the three most common diseases our clients face are dollar patch, dollar spot, and red thread.
